Cantina Gorgo
Roberta Bricolo is currently at the helm of the family company, founded by her parents Alberta and Roberto in 1975. Since its earliest days, it has been devoted to the production of the classic wines of this wonderful corner of the Veneto region.
In 2014 they began the process of converting all vineyards to organic agriculture, on an area that currently stands at 53 hectares of certified vines. By employing organic methods in the vineyard, “The specific characteristics of the vine remain as intact as possible, that is, an authentic, unique and incomparable wine, the full expression of its climate and its territory.”
Gorgo produces the typically excellent wines of this region: Custoza, Chiaretto and Bardolino. The morainic soil composed of rocky debris, stones and pebbles, humus and silt give their wines minerality and great flavor while the currents from Lake Garda create a Mediterranean microclimate that helps develop the aromas of white and yellow fruit and often hints of citrus.
Gorgo wines are certified organic by QCertificazioni Srl, Certificate of Conformity number 02320/1000638/188/17.
