Tenute Chiaromonte

Nicola Chiaromonte began in 1998 the evolution of one of the first Primitivo wine producers in the Gioia Del Colle DOC demomination. This family was producing grapes since 1826, but it’s under Nicola, -in partnership with Paolo Montanaro, -that Chiaromonte Winery started producing high-end Primitivo, capitalizing on its vines older than a century.
Today Chiaromonte has more than 60 acres of vines in production.
The 2021 Gambero Rosso Wine Guide awarded Contrada Barbatto 2017 with Tre Bicchieri, their most prestigious score.
